Alright everyone... we're going to try another event at Cagney's. It's a place that's willing to let us play regular card games, reserve sections, offer us group discounts, and let us play all night! Sounds great, right? They'll even help recruit for our group!
Cagney's IS a new restaurant/sports bar that opened up on the north side just a couple months ago. As far as discounts for our group, so far they're offering $4 house wines, $3 domestic drafts, and $4 well drinks! As we get closer to the date, I'll work on food discounts. If we get 20 - 25 people, we'll even get an hour of free bud light!
The start time will be 6 pm, but I will be there around 5:30 right after I get off work. If you can't make it at 6 - no worries! We'll be there all night, playing whatever you want - mostly spades, but euchre, hearts, cribbage, and canasta may make an appearance... if you don't know all those games - no worries! We've got so many members that play a variety of games we'll get you with a group of whatever game you want!
I hope to see you all there - and feel free to bring your friends! Even if it's just for the free beer!
