Alright everyone... we're going to try something new. I've found a place that's willing to let us play regular card games, reserve sections, offer us group discounts, and let us play all night! Sounds great, right? They'll even help recruit for our group!
What I'd like to do is test out this new location before committing to anything long-term, so the more people I can get out that night to review the place for me, the better! I want everyone's opinions - about the location, the bar, the food, the drinks, the parking - everything! The place is called Cagney's - a new restaurant/sports bar that opened up on the north side just a couple months ago. As far as discounts for our group, so far they're offering $4 house wines, $4 drafts, and $4 well drinks... plus an hour of free Bud Light to start! As we get closer to the date, I'll work on food discounts.
The start time will be 6 pm, but I will be there around 5:30 right after I get off work. If you can't make it at 6 - no worries! We'll be there all night, playing whatever you want - spades, euchre, hearts, cribbage, canasta, bridge... if you don't know all those games - no worries! We've got so many members that play a variety of games we'll get you with a group of whatever game you want!
